Manchester's Doctor Who 50th anniversary celebrations

Celebrate Doctor Who’s 50 Years in Manchester!

How are you celebrating Doctor Who‘s 50th anniversary? If you’re in the UK and within partying distance of Manchester, you might consider heading to the cultural hotpot for a fortnight of awesome entertainment and interaction with a Time Lord flavour.

Some big names in Doctor Who‘s long history are poised to talk about the show at a selection of venues in the city (including at our old favourite, The Lass O’Gowrie), and we’ll be bringing you full details about what and when soon.

In the meantime, however, we just HAD to share this awesome image, a detail from the vintage Radio Times-styled Manchester events poster by Vworp Vworp! designer Colin Brockhurst. You can see how it compares with the original Radio Times above.

Superb, isn’t it? You’ll see the full image as soon as we can bring you a confirmed line up for the Manchester events…

(With thanks to Colin Brockhurst and Gareth Kavanagh)
