Amy Pond Not Returning For 50th Anniversary

We pretty much knew it already but Karen Gillan has this week confirmed that Amy Pond isn’t in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special.

Chatting to the Radio Times, the no-longer-flame-haired actress made it clear that she isn’t in the 75 minute special which goes out on November 23rd.

I’m not in it, just to put that out there.

But will the former time traveller be watching the worldwide simulcast of The Name of the Doctor?

I think I’m going to be in America, so I’ll probably round up all the people who like to watch Doctor Who in the area. We’ll probably watch it and drink PG Tips and eat Jammy Dodgers, if I can get them.
