Tennant and McGann Confirmed for BFI!

Exciting news for those lucky enough to have tickets for the next BFI Doctor Who events as David Tennant and Paul McGann are both to appear in person at coming screenings.

Radio Times confirms that the Tenth Doctor will be on the panel when The Stolen Earth and Journey’s End are shown on Sunday 29th September, with Doctor number eight in attendance on Saturday 5th October when Doctor Who (The Movie) is shown.

Event mastermind Justin Johnson says:

There’s always something especially exciting when you know that the Doctor himself is coming along and we are so thrilled that David Tennant and Paul McGann will be joining us on the BFI stage to help us celebrate and to talk about their time on the show.

8th Doctor 3

Both events are, unsurprisingly, sold out although standby tickets are an outside possibility. Maybe if BFI do more of these screenings in future they should arrange screenings in cinemas around the country?

About the Author

Jonathan remembers catching Tony Hughes's Doctor in BBC Schools Mathsshow when he was off school in 1975. This more than made up for having chickenpox. Something of an old hand by this time, he had learned from The Doctor Who Monster Book that there were other Doctors and adventures to discover - an exciting prospect for a five year old.

They could have just sent along condescending notes………

Bob, just let it go, you’ve made your point very loud and very clear already….

I don’t think Mr Eccleston will be getting a Christmas card from Bob this year :). Excellent news about McGann and Tennant though. I’ve been watching the Q&A sessions from these screenings on YouTube and they’re very entertaining. Not the same as being lucky enough to be there though :(

  3. Drew Boynton says:

This is why Tennant and McGann are great Doctors and great people.
