Daleks’ Master Plan 12: The Destruction of Time

It doesn’t feel like twelve weeks ago when we kicked off Rick Lundeen’s amazing comic book adaptation of The Daleks’ Master Plan, but here we are at the end of the road.

The Destruction of Time is our bumper 21 page final instalment, in which the Daleks make their own, Mavic Chen-free plans known and the Doctor has to take desperate (and potentially life-shortening…) steps in order to defeat his old enemies…

The PDF version is now available from the Kasterborous Store, and CBR and CBZ editions will also be available for the whole collection soon.

Keep an eye out for future news about the print version of this superb comic strip!

It’s been a great ride and a big thank you to Christian and Kasterborous for giving the comic adaptation a home. If we manage to do a printed version in the future, you’ll hear about it here first!

Thanks so much for such a great adaptation of this classic Rick. I liked some of the special touches you made – the appearance of the Delegates was very unique, and was that some regenerative energy starting with the Doc near the end of pt.12? Nice!

If you ever decide to do the Feast of Steven I wouldn’t complain. Any chance of a Xmas bonus? Either way I would happily pay to see this compendium in a graphic novel but guess it comes down to economics.

Martin, thanks—yep, the start of the regen was my little addition, I’m glad you spotted that. I didn’t want to get too crazy and at the same time, I wanted to get it in there. I took the extreme aging to it’s logical conclusion —and with the advantage of hindsight about the show—figured that’s what might happen to him before he got back to the safety of the Tardis.
