Craig and Karen - feat

Ferguson to Host Doctor Who Panel

Chat show host and all round Doctor Who nut Craig Ferguson has been chosen to moderate BBC America’s Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

Craig and Matt

How much of a Doctor Who nut is he? Well, he’s said things like:

“It’s all about the triumph of intellect and romance over brute force and cynicism.”

And also:

Doctor Who is about a Time Lord who travels through time in a phone booth. An idea that was far out stolen by Bill and Ted! Excellent adventure my a–!”

He has, of course, also indulged in the kind of all singing, all dancing Doctor Who themed openings that could only ever be cut for time from his show.

Ferguson, who has invited Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Jenna Coleman, Neil Gaiman and Alex Kingston, onto The Late, Late Show on CBS in America numerous times, made the announcement via his Twitter page.

The event which kicks off Sunday July 21, 2013 at 12:30pm to 1:30pm (local time) in the hallowed Hall H will feature Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman, award-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, An Adventure in Space and Time star David Bradley, and award-winning writer/executive producer Mark Gatiss.

About

Andrew has left Kasterborous. Any article that appears on the site past February 2016 claiming to be written by Andrew Reynolds has been done so maliciously and without the authors consent. The author does not condone gambling in any form and would not seek to publicise the industry through a children's television show.
