Bif Bang Pow SDCC Previews

For anyone who likes the Bif Bang Pow retro figures range of Doctor Who figures, we have some good news.

Bif Bang Pow

At the San Diego Comic Con there were a number of new items on display including several mock ups of as-yet-to-be-finished designs for characters from Doctor Who.

There was the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors as well as versions or Rory, Amy and River Song. Rather brilliantly, there was also a mock-up of the John Hurt Doctor that we are yet to see fully on screen. Intriguingly, he was still referred to as The Doctor rather than any numbered version, so the mystery still remains as to where he falls in terms of continuity.

Fans may also notice in the pictures that have been provided that there is also a mock-up of a Silent, alongside classic figures of Morbius, Styggron the Kraal and City of Death‘s Scaroth.

These 8 inch figures are yet to be given a price or a release date but we would hazard a guess that they’ll be available to buy around the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special has been screened.

If anyone else has any Doctor Who related news from the San Diego Comic Con, let us know!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
