The Valeyard On Trial in December

We heard him mentioned in The Name of the Doctor; the Valeyard tried to kill his Sixth incarnation but apparently died in the process… or did he? It’s about time that we find out what happened to the Doctor’s darker side and now we can find out courtesy of Big Finish when they release their special subscriber bonus later in 2013, Trial of the Valeyard.

Starring Colin Baker as the Doctor, Michael Jayston as the Valeyard and Linda Bellingham as the Inquisitor, this special production will see the tables turned as the Valeyard is forced to face up to his evil deeds and be judged by the Doctor!

Trial of a Time Lord

For those not in the know, the Valeyard is apparently an amalgamation of the Doctor from between his twelfth and final incarnations and is completely evil. He’s the polar opposite of the Doctor and tried to have him executed under Time Lord Law in the 1986 epic Trial of a Time Lord.

Now, for the first time in 27 years, the Doctor and the Valeyard will face of once again but with the Doctor in control this time, how will he judge his nasty side?

This release will be available to all subscribers to the Big Finish main Doctor Who range that includes their December release but there are also other tempting ways that you can get hold of a copy this Christmas as well.

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
