Toys R Us are going Dalek crazy for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary with their impending release of a Doctor Who action figure collection.

  • Second Doctor with Guard Dalek from The Evil of the Daleks
  • Third Doctor with Dalek from Planet of the Daleks
  • Fourth Doctor with Dalek from Destiny of the Daleks
  • Fifth Doctor with Dalek from Resurrection of the Daleks
  • Sixth Doctor with Dalek from Revelation of the Daleks
  • Seventh Doctor with Renegade Dalek from Remembrance of the Daleks

Dalek toy

Perhaps the most exciting choice on this menu is the Eighth Doctor offering which canonises the Doctor Who Magazine comic strip as official once and for all!

Which set will you buy and which will you skip?

Each Doctor Who Dalek Twin Pack is priced £19.99, available from Toys R Us.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!

The First Doctor set will not come with a Dalek from the Dead Planet but the Supreme Dalek from the Chase/Daleks Master Plan.

    • Thanks Ian, we’ll update as necessary.

  2. avatar Ian says:

I forgot to add it was a mistake by TRU. The Third Doctor set is to come with a Dalek from Planet of the Daleks, which is different than any other. Intriguing.

  3. avatar Bob James says:

The First and Eighth Doctor sets are definitely on my list. Finally, the Eighth Doctor getting some props from Character Options. The lack of Eighth Doctor variants and sets is shameful………

shame its only toys r us uk

  5. Toys R Us in U.S.of A. hardly ever has any Doctor Who items, and then only 1 or 2 figures in their dozens.
These sets appear to be mostly re-issues of other figures from other sets. I’d buy if they were appreciably different from prior releases.

  6. avatar Andrew Dick says:

I wonder if they’ll ever make an 8th Doctor with his outfit from the Big Finish audio Dark Eyes.
