K9 USB hub for Doctor Who fans

Doctor Who K-9 USB Hub

When you think of K-9, the Doctor’s robot travelling companion from 1977 until 1981, you instantly thing of all the uses that he had, helping the Doctor to stave off enemies, providing useful data at critical moments and of course, sometimes making the Doctor look a bit silly.

Even though K-9 is too busy saving the world on his own now to pop in and help the Doctor, he can still be of help to you at home albeit in 5 inch form.

A nifty little USB hub in the shape of K-9 is being released for you to place next to your desktop PC or laptop and plug in all your external devices to. It also looks simply wonderful and attention to detail is magnificent. It’s safe to say that this is definitely modelled on the Mark 3 version that the Tenth Doctor met (and lost) in 2006’s School Reunion, there’s even scuffs on the paintwork!

Now, the only thing that you have to decide is if you want to buy one or not, for the quality that you’re getting, they’re not inexpensive and each one will take $39.99 from your wallet – but we reckon it’ll look great alongside the TARDIS PC tower.

As ever, the decision is up to you, you’re under no obligation, but, if you find that you’re running out of USB ports, this may be just the way to solve the problem whilst showing everyone that you have a better USB hub than them.

US readers can pre-order from Entertainment Earth ahead of its July 2013 release.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
