What is it about the North, well, York in particular. Went into WH Smiths to pick up a copy today. They had never heard of it, even suggesting it wouldn’t be there for a while if it existed. Every time York never gets stuff on time or early. Is Doctor Who considered too southern :)

    • Nonsense. K Towers is in the north east. Perhaps the problem is WH Smith staff – I’ve had my problems with them over the years.

I should also add that I’ve bought DWM and DWM specials in York in the past, although it is strange there is no Forbidden Planet in that great city…

To add fuel to this, i’ve searched my town, neighbouring town and the whole of London (mostly), including Forbidden Planet Megastore and no one has heard of it!

  2. avatar Philip Bates says:

My WHSmith (in Weston-s-Mare) hasn’t got it either.

    Something is afoot…!

  3. avatar Andy Wood says:

Forbidden Planet Newcastle got either 6 or 9 copies … went straight away

  4. avatar Marc Ofner says:

Not seen it anywhere in Hull or Leeds too.
Was in London last week and couldn’t find it there either. WH Smiths are useless!

  5. avatar vortexter says:

it’s been taken out of time…

  6. avatar Christine says:

I ordered it on Amazon, and it’s been dispatched. So I should get it later this week. however, I just checked on the site and it is currently unavailabe (so it’s been available for 2-3 days only and then probably sold out).

  7. avatar Mez says:

Forbidden Planet Megastore in London have copies as of yesterday. Run, you clever people…and buy it!

  8. avatar Nikol says:

Yeah. Nice. I live in Czech republic. We don’t even have WH Smith :D And I want this magazine so badly. I was stupid when I was in London and bought only The doctors one. And now I see it’s absolutely imposible to find it :D
