Cold War is a hugely significant episode of modern Doctor Who, restoring as it does the ancient Martian Ice Warriors to their rightful place as one of the show’s most feared monsters.


But did the episode by Mark Gatiss tick your box? Or did the submarine-based adventure – a modern version of the classic “base under siege” formula (much like Waters of Mars…) feel a bit wet to you?
