Doctor Who: The Crimson Horror

The Crimson Horror Gallery & Synopsis!

Doctor Who returns this Saturday with a reunion of sorts, with Silurian Madame Vastra, her wife Jenny Flint and their Sontaran friend Strax helping the Time Lord and Clara as they venture into the north of England in the foggy Victoriana of The Crimson Horror.

But what’s it all about?

There’s something very odd about Mrs Gillyflower’s Sweetville mill, with its perfectly clean streets and beautiful people. There’s something even stranger about the bodies washing up in the river, all bright red and waxy. When the Doctor and Clara go missing, it’s up to Vastra, Jenny and Strax to rescue them before they too fall victim to the Crimson Horror!

Written by Mark Gatiss, The Crimson Horror is directed by Saul Metzstein. The cast includes guest stars Dame Diana Rigg and her daughter Rachael Stirling as well as Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart and Dan Starkey as Vastra, Jenny and Strax, while Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman star as the Doctor and Clara.

(And how might that trio react to the “new” Clara?)

Okay – the bit you really want is below – the gallery!

You can find a hi-res version of the gallery on the Kasterborous Facebook page.

Viewers in the UK can enjoy The Crimson Horror on Saturday, May 4th at 6.30pm on BBC One and BBC HD. BBC America viewers should tune in at 8 ET.
