Jenna-Louise Coleman certainly hasn’t spoiled any of the story arcs that are taking place within the fiftieth anniversary stories this year for Doctor Who but she seems to have already become an expert in teasing an audience.
Talking recently to TV Guide the actress, who plays new companion and enigmatic death dodger Clara Oswald, spoke about the last episode of Series 7 before the 50th anniversary story in November. She summed it up with one sentence:
It’s really exciting….my spine was tingling when I read it.
What kind of spine tingling reveals and revelations can we expect when the dramatic May finale comes around? If Coleman’s reaction is anything to go by, we’re going to be very excited indeed!
Coleman also hints in the interview about her longer term plans; although it’s nothing solid, she does mention a time frame when reminiscing about the filming of The Snowmen:
It was strange because obviously it was a brand-new TARDIS, so it was a set that nobody’s ever used before or seen before at this point…but this is where you’re going to be for however many [of] the next couple of seasons or years, so it’s like mine and Matt’s new place.
So, once the mystery of Clara is solved will we still get to have her around or will Moffat leak information out one series at a time for a longer term plan?
