Gillan’s Zombie Haircare Spoof

“Every zombie girl hair breaks, or comes off on the brush…” Words you would probably never expect Karen Gillan to be uttering, but here she is on BBC America’s The Nerdist in a spoof haircare product advert.

Think l’Oreal, think Night of the Living Dead, think Amy Pond’s career as a model, and you’ll be part way there…

(Is it me, or is Karen channeling Tracy Ullman?)

Karen, of course, appeared regularly in The Kevin Bishop Show long before being cast as Amy Pond, so comedy isn’t something new to her.

You can catch The Nerdist on Saturday April 13th at 10pm/9c on BBC America, airing after Doctor Who.
