Fish Fingers and Custard from Bird's Eye

Did You Miss National Fish Fingers and Custard Day?

Step aside Captain BirdsEye; it’s the Doctor’s turn to adorn a packet of your popular Cod Fish Fingers as part of National Fish Fingers and Custard Day – a day celebrating the Time Lord’s idiosyncratic taste buds.

Fish Fingers and Custard from Bird's Eye

The bespoke packet features the Eleventh Doctor peeking out from behind the fingers of fish – to celebrate the event today, 3rd April.

This one-off packet was given to the Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith, to commemorate the 50th anniversary, along with a very generous lifetime’s supply of the Captain’s finest.

So sadly, you won’t be able to purchase a box.

But if you fancy some fish fingers and custard, you can try this acquired taste at Manchester’s Lass O’Gowrie pub whenever they run Doctor Who events…

(Now, let’s be realistic. The chances of a single printing of this box are extremely small. Somewhere, dear Kasterborites, there are others…)

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
