Jon Culshaw as the Doctor in Dead Ringers

Dead Ringers Classic: Fourth Doctor Eurostar

It’s easy to get heated up about things in Doctor Who – or indeed in any show, group or sport that you might be a fan of.

So instead of worrying about Spidergate, let’s lighten the mood with this Dead Ringers clip featuring Jon Culshaw’s impersonation of the Fourth Doctor.

It might be larger than life, it might be arguably better researched than Hide, and Jon Culshaw’s interpretation of the famous fourth incarnation of the Doctor – as indelibly played by Tom Baker – might not actually be note perfect (some way off, in fact, yet the impression left is remarkable), but what we shouldn’t forget is that this small sketch is a lot of fun.

That’s what entertainment is all about – isn’t it?
