Amazing Doctor Who Limited Edition Prints Box Set

A special, limited edition box set of Doctor Who prints is due to hit shelves next month.

Prints boxset 2

The exclusive box collects 20 prints, including art by Adrian Salmon (Doctor Who Magazine); TARGET novel illustrator, Chris Achilleos; and Kasterborous co-founder (whose work can be seen in the most recent DVD complete series sets and at the Doctor Who Experience), Anthony Dry; as well as the Doctor Who stamp collection, two Radio Times covers, and DVD artwork for An Unearthly Child and Genesis of the Daleks.

The collection comes in a foil-printed TARDIS box and includes a 32-page booklet and certificate of authenticity to prove its one of a limited 1963 numbered run. And while the prints certainly are outstanding and varied, perfectly encompassing 50 years in time and space, some might find issue with its RRP.

The box set will set you back £120.

One-hundred-and-twenty-pound. Really. Yes, that’s less than £10 each print, but it’s still a hefty amount of money coming out of your wallet.

It’s certainly a tough call.

Released on 18th May, you can pre-order the prints from Forbidden Planet exclusively.

When he’s not watching television, reading books ‘n’ Marvel comics, listening to The Killers, and obsessing over script ideas, Philip Bates (Kasterborous' Assistant Editor) pretends to be a freelance writer. He enjoys collecting everything.
