Good news, dear reader – the BBC has confirmed that the first episode of Doctor Who Series 7b, The Bells of Saint John, will be broadcast at 6.15 pm on Saturday March 30th!
Clara on TV!
In addition, the official episode synopsis – adaptations of which will find their way into newspapers – has also been released:
The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere.
Humanity lives in a wi-fi soup. But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.
Hmm, we wonder why Clara will be a target…
Broadcast times for BBC America have already been confirmed, where the show will be in its usual 8 ET slot, with broadcast also commencing on Saturday, March 30th.

So my brothers and sisters of Who in the UK get it 5 hours and 45 minutes before me. Not that I’ve always been successful at waiting for the TV time.
