The Last Cybermen No More…

The new Doctor Who Series 7b premier issue of the Radio Times contains secrets aplenty, mainly thanks to Steven Moffat’s episode guide which also reveals the name of Neil Gaiman’s Cybermen adventure!

Doctor Who hits the Radio Times

Although previously known as “The Last Cybermen”, the episode that is expected to restore the Cybermen to their rightful menace has been confirmed by Moffat as Nightmare In Silver.

Including Steven Moffat’s Series 7b episode guide, a free Doctor Who monster wall chart and discussions with Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, the latest Radio Times is on sale now from all good supermarkets and petrol forecourts.

A couple of things of interest come from the actor himself, however – as well as confirming his Sky Arts drama Cargese which was directed by Smith, the star of Doctor Who also seems to state that he is going to be returning to the show in 2014, perhaps undermining many recent rumours… Indeed, he tells the Radio Times that he can go on forever…

I came back and put the costume on for the photoshoot today. At the risk of sounding self-indulgent and cheesy, it really does make you want to go back and start shooting. I’m attached to the show for the next year and I take it year by year. I think that’s the only way you can take it.

Don’t forget to pickup your Radio Times next time you buy some milk!

The Last Cybermen… Nightmare in Silver… I could go for either title.

I think both titles are kind of generic, but I prefer “The Last Cybernan.” It’s got a bit of teaser quality at least and makes you wonder how it’s going to relate to the plot. “Nightmare in Silver” could be any old Cybermen story.

I liked the first title ‘The Last Cyberman’ better.
I have a theory about Oswin/Clara that may be of interest. I reckon she’s the Nemesis statue. The Nemesis statue is made of three parts of Validium seperated that activate the whole mass, Oswin is three people seperated. The Nemesis statue knows the Doctors true name, the Doctors greatest secret is about to be revealed. The Statue returns to earth every 25 yrs, Oswin is contemporary and is here now 25 yrs on from the last appearance on earth and genearates a wave of fear on each appearance (Winter is coming, that meant something surely?) Also she is what she is made to be. Why not human? Plus…well…its anniversary year so why not?
