River Song: We Know How She Dies, Right?
Unless there are some of you who don’t like River Song in which case we can mostly say that we mostly like River Song. However, the following Doctor Who spoiler is of such toxicity that we must wrap it up in spoiler tags – not to mention space things a bit with a photo of the time travelling professor.
For those people who don’t like the character; never fear, her end might be more in sight than you realised.
Workers on the set of the new series of Doctor Who have spotted a potential spoiler for the new series, the tombstone of River Song. That’s right. Her actual tombstone.
But hang on a minute, she died as soon as we met her, we hear you say, In 2008’s Forest of the Dead. Well that may be so but let’s face it, Steven Moffat has never been one to let a good character meet a linear end and it could be that River is set to perish all over again.
Yes, we’ve seen her death but as Moffat’s scripts keep reiterating, time can be rewritten. Are we about to see the new end of River Song?
The prognosis suggests that we’re being fed a red herring but this is one of the best parts of Moffat era Doctor Who, because we’ll just have to wait until the new series airs to find out!
Doctor Who returns to BBC One on March 30th.
