Rather than dotting around time and space in a police box or around town in a sprightly yellow roadster, it seems that Doctor Who star Matt Smith is a regular on the London Underground. But have YOU ever seen him dealing with a Yeti on the toilet at Tooting Bec?

Chatting on last night’s The Jonathan Ross Show, Matt revealed that eagle eyed fans could catch him on the Tube, plugged into his earphones and wearing a beanie.

I travel on the tube every day. I mean I wear a hat and I walk quickly. I always get the end carriage but I like the walk, I like going down the escalator and I like to travel to music.

We reckon he’s actually looking for remains of The Great Intelligence – but if you do spot Matt, let us know!
