Is Freema Agyeman foxing with us, or is she genuinely being overlooked for a Doctor Who 50th anniversary return as Martha Jones?

Currently starring on CBeebies with the great Bernard Cribbins in Old Jack’s Boat, Agyeman responded to some followers’ questions on Twitter recently concerning her future plans with respect to Doctor Who. Far from being as honest as John Barrowman, however, she was positively cagey – it was almost as if she genuinely hadn’t been contacted to appear in the 50th anniversary special which is set to enter production shortly.

What do you think? Would you like to see Freema return to Doctor Who, or has Martha Smith (as she was when we last saw her) made her last appearance?

At this point, I’d really like to see them stop asking people. How long before these knuckleheads get the message—no one is being allowed to say anything. If anyone does, the BBC doesn’t like it. Just repeatedly giving vague platitudes is meaningless.
