Doctor Who TARDIS Vending Machine?

Imagine you were thirsty, and dehydrated, and had a dry mouth… then when you look up at the vending machine that you’re about to buy yourself a fizzy drink from…you see the face the Doctor.

That’s exactly what those lucky people at Epic Comics now get to do every day as they’ve built themselves a TARDIS style vending machine with a different Doctor for each different drink!

The dapper looking machine offers five different Time Lord sponsored beverages including Mountain Dew from the Fourth Doctor, Pepsi from the Tenth Doctor, Coca Cola from the Ninth Doctor, Diet Coke from the Eight Doctor and Sprite from the Eleventh Doctor (no word as yet if the sound bite ‘Sprites are cool’ emanates after each order).

While this may be the only one of its kind in existence at the moment, we feel that the BBC may be missing a trick here. Doctor Who related vending machines could just be the start. Petrol pumps with the Third Doctor on them, train station ticket machines adorned with the First Doctors face or post boxes painted as Daleks?

The list is endless but one thing is for sure, there’s never a dull moment when ordering a cold beverage at Epic Comics!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
