Colin & Sylvester “Available” for 50th

If you caught The One Show on Friday evening – where the BBC’s controversial move from Television Centre was commemorated – you will have seen Chris Evans chatting with Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy.

Thanks to DoctorWhoTV we can share the clip above, in which the Sixth and Seventh Doctors share a couple of anecdotes about their time recording Doctor Who at the legendary studios and administrative centre, which is being sold off as offices (and appears in Mark Gatiss’ An Adventure in Time and Space).

What is most significant, of course, is that the actors refuse to confirm involvement or otherwise with the 50th anniversary – while also saying that they’re available….

(Thanks to Ian)

It was truly wonderful to see Michael Grade being interviewed by a Sixth Doctor’s coat-wearing Chris Evans, with a Dalek in the background.
