It’s finally here. After what seems like an eternity since the announcement of an animated recon release of The Reign of Terror it’s finally here, ready for you to hungrily digest.

What a way to start Doctor Who’s fiftieth anniversary!

Hopefully you’ve managed to get your copy from your favourite online (or high street) retailer. For all of you that have not, shame on you: what are you still doing without a copy? Go and buy one now!

If you’re still here and you require a little more coaxing then that, perhaps a small glimpse of what you can expect will do the trick. BBC Worldwide have released a short video showing off the wonderful animated styling’s of Planet 55 Studios as the First Doctor operates the TARDIS console, it’s backed up with some rather epic sound bites from William Hartnell from some of his more famous speeches from his time as the Doctor.

The Reign of Terror is by no means for collectors only, and is one of this year’s biggest releases – we’re sure that after a few seconds watching the brilliant animation, you’re going to agree with us!
