But fear not, we may have an antidote for you to read and maybe satisfy your need to have more exposure to a Star Trek/ Doctor Who crossover Universe.

Fan website Trekmovie.com have had a little look round and found earlier examples of the two universes overlapping and intertwining, they’ve dug down deep in the world of fanzines and found stories including the Fourth Doctor and Captain Kirk, they’ve discovered tales from TV comic  which feature the Doctor working alongside the original Star Trek crew and the characters from The Next Generation and they’ve also discovered some amazing artwork that ties the two separate universes together including one epic picture of the Eleventh Doctor, Amelia Pond, Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock stuck in the middle of Daleks, Cybermen, Vulcans and Klingons.

All in all, it’s a rather excellent article that will supply you with some further Doctor Who and Star Trek reading and exactly where you can get it. If you enjoyed Assimilation² then you’ll love this!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
