Sky News Reports on the BFI Doctor Who at 50 Event

While only a comparatively small number of fans were able to attend last week’s Doctor Who at 50 event at the BFI in London, Sky News was in attendance to bring a report of the show’s anniversary.

Featuring clips from the classic series and interviews with classic era stars such as Sylvester McCoy, the following video is from Sky News and gives as good a flavour as you could possibly get from the screening of An Unearthly Child without actually attending.

Did you attend the event? Are you intending to attend any of the subsequent monthly screenings? Let us know!

Interesting Sky covering this event and not a mention on the BBC!

It really was an amazing day, amazing shared experience, wonderful guests, brilliant venue, efreshingly laid back. These really are fantastic, value for money mini conventions with guests and attendees just there for a good time and to appreciate the material on show. I’d urge everyone to try and get to at least one of these this year!

    • Thanks Gareth, I hoped you would leave your thoughts :D
