All eleven Doctors play a part in the new BBC Worldwide Doctor Who website

It’s Time for BBC Worldwide’s Doctor Who Website!

So, what have you got for me this time?

Entering the Beta phase, the BBC has launched the official Doctor Who Fiftieth Anniversary site – and they’re giving fans the chance to win £100 in Amazon vouchers if they complete a feedback survey!

The site looks fantastic; integrating everything from daily news, upcoming events (such as the BFI’s anniversary screenings), the BBC Shop, games (you can order The Eternity Clock directly from your PSN network login!) and even watch the show dependent on your region.

But the meat of it all is the Doctor himself – simply click on the 50 Years of Doctor Who link and you’ll be whisked to a brief breakdown of each Doctor, his companions and his foes, which include: vintage clips news tailored towards your chosen Doctor and a whole gaggle of items to buy from the BBC shop itself.

If you were to be a tad knit-picky, you might argue that it’s not nearly as in-depth as the Doctor Who: The Classic Series site which could have been incorporated into this for those wanting a little more on the episodes themselves.

Each Doctor is timed to ‘regenerate’ at a certain time, so currently you are limited to the just the First Doctor with the Second due in around two days’ time.

So have a play around and if you spot anything wibbly with the site you could earn yourself up to a £100 in Amazon vouchers!

Head to to find out more.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
