Doctor Who Quiz Night in Camden!

How would you feel about flexing some of the old grey matter on February 5th with a likeminded team of Doctor Who fans? If you’re answer included the following words: “God” and “yes” then we might have something of interest for you.

Local Camden watering hole The Monarch will be hosting a rather fun Doctor Who quiz for anyone to attend and it’s only two pounds per person. It could all go splendidly well unless someone outs themselves as a fan of Dimensions in Time. For fact fans, the Eighth Doctor battled a future breed of Cybermen in Camden in the eight part comic strip for Doctor Who Magazine, The Flood. Fo0r fans of real life, here are the details of the night’s events:

It’s Doctor Who night in Camden’s finest boozer. We’re going to have a quiz. A Doctor Who quiz. I’m basically going to test your knowledge of everyone’s favourite 50 year old British institution. Whoo!

Featuring 6 rounds of intensely geeky brain teasers and mind benders, expect fun! Prizes! Alcohol! And (probably) a massive debate between you and your fellow contestants over whether Big Finish, the New Adventures and the TV Movie “count”. It’s going to be epic.

Participation tax is a mere £2. Tables can be booked by popping an email to info@monarchbar.com .

Plenty of people are already going, you can be one of them. To find out dates, times and location, visit the venue’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/events/236027736532823/?fref=ts .

If you don’t go, you’ll never be able to prove to other Doctor Who fans that you know more about our favourite show then they do!

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
