About the Author

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.

I’m getting all nostalgic – I haven’t seen any new Silva Screen releases since the BBC started putting out soundtracks for the revival. Nice to see them back at it.

I hope they can negotiate the use of the theme tune. I know Warners own the rights to it – hence even the programme not being allowed to use it outside of the main opening and end titles.
