Those good people who work on the Anglophenia section of BBC America (it’s a part of the website that celebrates the best of British culture but with an American flavour) have decided to let Christmas come early for lucky Doctor Who fans by creating a competition to win weekly iTunes downloads with a Doctor Who flavour!
In preparation for the upcoming Christmas special, The Snowmen, the website has launched a contest for readers to log their favourite quotation from 2012’s fantastically fantastic Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. In an episode that features the Doctor and the Ponds on top form, the introduction of Rory’s dad and Queen Nefertiti, David Mitchell and Robert Webb (Peep Show) as two squabbling robots and a whole host of Dinosaurs, you’ll be hard pressed not to find a line that tickles you.
The trick with the competition is not so much the quotation that you post but the reasoning behind it, so make sure when you choose your favourite bit that made you laugh, cry, shout or scream, you also list why you chose it.
This weeks’ winner will receive Best of the Christmas Specials on iTunes, more than enough Doctor Who Christmas fun to keep you entertained until The Snowmen appears in two weeks time.
