The BBC has released a great selection of new images to accompany The Snowmen – we’ve got a handful of them right here and we’ll bring you the rest throughout the day!

As revealed yesterday, Steven Moffat’s third Doctor Who Christmas special will air at 5.15pm on December 25th, and runs to 60 minutes. The Snowmen guest stars Richard E. Grant (Withnail & I, Curse of the Fatal Death, Scream of the Shalka) as Doctor Simeon and introduces Jenna-Louise Coleman’s character Clara, who we suspect will prove a perplexing presence for the Time Lord. Matt Smith is, as ever, the Doctor.
