This time, it’s the turn of the character portraits in our second gallery of images from The Snowmen. The Doctor Who Christmas special doesn’t only guest star Richard E. Grant – there are plenty of other players involved!

Look out for Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara, Tom Ward as Captain Latimer, Liz White as Alice, Ellie Darcey-Alden as Francesca, Joseph Darcey-Alden as Digby, Dan Starkey as Strax, and of course Matt Smith sporting a brand new look for the Doctor!

Tune into BBC One at 5.15pm on Christmas Day to catch The Snowmen; viewers in the USA with access to BBC America can watch at 9/8c (and should steer clear of the Internet from around 1pm).
