TARDIS Interior Hi-Res!

Doctor Who fans across the web have been lapping up news of the new TARDIS interior image, as revealed by the BBC. Some images (and we’re as guilty of this as anyone) have been less revealing of the details thanks to their size, however.

As such, we decided that our readers need to take the time to get as much out of this new image as possible – or even set it as a desktop background on their PC, laptop or tablet.

TARDIS Interior Hi-res

The new TARDIS interior is revealed in Doctor Who: The Snowmen

So, all you need to do is click the image above to get a full frontal closeup of the wonderous new TARDIS interior! (Note, image is over 3 MB, so click with care if you’re on a mobile or metered connection.)

(I particularly like the Big Round Thing on the left…)

It’s no bigger than any other versions of the picture doing the rounds, and it’s even called “low_res” in the filename!

    • Aha. That’s because we upped the wrong version. :)

      Hi-hi res to follow…

    That’s more like it!

    • Thanks for pointing it out :D

I like this a lot, certainly looks the best of the NuWho consoles, a classic look to it,

I love the return to a “victorian” look for the Doctor as well, as it’s appropriate for the setting of the episode. And as I’ve said elsewhere the new look Tardis manages to look retro and new, with a splash of Eighth Doctor console room there in good measure.

I so hope the costume sticks! It is an incredible look for a timeless timelord!

and the new/old/retro/updated/postmodern/neoclassical look of the console room is incredible.

Michael Pickwoad is a genius. Pure genius.
