Speaking to Digital Spy recently, Jenna-Louise Coleman has revealed that she was surprised that here appearance in Asylum of the Daleks was kept secret until broadcast.
Oswin Oswald’s appearance was a jaw-dropping post-titles twist that had viewers glued to their sets trying to work out just how the Time Lord’s future companion could possibly be in the Series 7 opener back in September.
Describing it as a “really quite difficult” secret to keep, she went on to say:
I didn’t think it was going to be kept a secret, so I was so pleasantly surprised – I never thought that could be kept.
There’s also a bit of (clearly rehearsed) summary of Clara’s role in The Snowmen, which of course airs on Christmas Day.
She’s living in Victorian England working as a barmaid… I think she’s a bit of a dreamer, she’s very down-to-Earth, she’s very curious and she stumbles across this man called the Doctor and wants to know more… and will not give up on that quest very easily!
You’ll see all of this plus praise for Steven Moffat and Richard E. Grant below…
