Doctor Who Wins TV Guide Magazine’s Fan Poll!

We’re used to Doctor Who receiving awards – but this one is different. In the country that 16 years ago completely ignored its chance to become the new home of our much-loved Time Lord, the series has won a fan poll in a major magazine!

Doctor Who Wins TV Guide Magazine's Fan Favorites Poll!

You might have spotted our previous coverage of Doctor Who’s nomination in the America’s TV Guide magazine fan poll, and all around the web you might have come across various aggressive campaigns to get the show – which airs on BBC America in the USA – recognised.

Well, the time has come; Doctor Who has won!

GMA’s host noted that DOCTOR WHO was “overwhelmingly” voted by the fans to top their Fan Favorites Cover.

The show’s international success just keeps marching on and on – and the result of this is Doctor Who gracing the cover of TV Guide. Pretty sweet, eh?

I so love it when DW comes to the US. It gives me such hope that maybe,,,, just maybe,,,, quality entertainment may be sneaking up on the unsuspecting masses. I have no idea how so many lead life without ever knowing the level of entertainment that they are missing.
