Here it is, Kasterborites – the prologue to the Doctor Who 2012 Christmas special, as revealed on Children in Need’s broadcast appeal this evening!

First up, it’s the prologue, The Great Detective…

We would, of course, be quite wrong not to share the Christmas special trailer itself!

What do you think? Looks good, doesn’t it? And isn’t Richard E. Grant’s character particularly nasty?
