Springfield Punx Does the Eighth Doctor (At Last!)

Springfield Punx, the popular blog hosting fan art of pop culture figures drawn in the cartoon stylings of The Simpsons, have once again put a smile on many with their latest offering – a rather wonderful Springfield-esque drawing of the Eighth Doctor!

The Eighth Doctor Who, Simpsons Style!

The picture of Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor has two versions, one with his green frock coat and one without. It joins a hall of fame of some of the site’s other excellent creations including most of the previous Doctors (poor old Six and Seven are still missing), plus some companions and alien menaces.

The various fashion stylings of the Third Doctor are a particular delight to peruse, as are those of the Eleventh Doctor. There’s also a very cool montage of Doctor Who’s friends and enemies from the 2005 series onwards but you’ll have to search the Springfield Punx website properly to find those!

In fact, there are so many hidden gems on this website that you may just have to stay there for a few hours to enjoy them all; some would make great desktop backgrounds for PC’s!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
