Jenna-Louise Coleman in the Doctor Who 2012 Christmas Special

Remember Children In Need!

It’s that time of year again, in which adults dress up as giant bears and run a gauntlet of challenges as diverse as sitting in a bath full of baked beans and watching Terry Wogan for four hours.

Jenna-Louise Coleman in the Doctor Who 2012 Christmas Special

That’s right, Children in Need is here, and this Friday’s show will of course feature a Doctor Who element – in the shape of a preview of the forthcoming Christmas special starring Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, and written by Steven Moffat

So yet again it means staying in on the Friday night to grin and bear the bizarre televisual mashups of things like Sir Alan Sugar in EastEnders (true) and the cast of Justin’s House being massacred to death by a terminally annoyed cult TV webmaster (not true).

Naturally we’re looking forward to the preview, and will bring you a small summary of the event.

And if you’re keen to contribute to the fundraising effort for Children in Need, don’t forget the final, signed-by-David-Tennant copy of Time Leech which is currently listed on eBay – bid on the massively-rare item here!
