Matt Smith as the Doctor in The Power of Three

Matt Smith Guests on Christmas Graham Norton Show!

Remember one of Matt Smith’s first interviews on a chat show after he completed the filming for his first series of Doctor Who? While he was quietly confident, the poor man looked a bit like a deer caught in headlights as he quickly started to realise just how much his world was changing.

Nowadays, the actor is the archetypal example of a great guest to have on a chat show; he’s funny, confident, outspoken, charming and fun all at the same time, so it’s great news to hear that he’ll be appearing on The Graham Norton Show over the Christmas period to talk about the 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special, The Snowmen, a few days before it airs.

Joining Smith in the chat arena will be film legend Dustin Hoffman, comedian Billy Connolly and Jennifer Saunders.

What can we expect from Smith during the interview? Kasterborous predicts conversations about the Christmas episode and what to expect, questions about Doctor Who’s fiftieth anniversary, talks about Smith’s future on the show as well as some well rounded discussion regarding his work outside of Doctor Who.

Whatever the questions are, it’ll be a great way to prepare for the special a few days ahead of time!

The Christmas edition of The Graham Norton Show will air on BBC One on December 21st at 10.35pm.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
