David Tennant is so funny! “How funny?” I hear you cry! Well, very funny going by the testament of Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page who appeared opposite the former Doctor in Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger!
Speaking to This Is Wales Page, who plays Mrs Peterson, the pregnant wife of Tennant’s befuddled primary school teacher, Donald, had nothing but nice things to say about her co-star:
He was great to work with. He’s so good at improvising so he made you feel safe. He is very funny as well.
While the title may suggest all kinds of undemanding yuletide-based shenanigans; Page instead focuses on the nuts and bolts of the Petersons relationship which kids in cinemas everywhere will be tolerating:
My husband, played by David, is really sweet and lovely. He is very supportive. He panics a bit about stuff but they are really a loved-up couple. He is a bit nervous about becoming a father and the whole baby coming because he doesn’t have a very good relationship with his own father.
For more festive fun, Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger! is in cinemas now.
