Christmas Doctor Who Clips in BBC One Trailer

Just to get you in the mood (after all, it is December in few days’ time!) the BBC has released this stunning trailer of the coming Christmas specials, and naturally Doctor Who: The Snowmen plays its part!

With Richard E. Grant as the villainous Doctor Simeon and supporting guest stars in the shape of Tom Ward (Silent Witness) and Liz White (Life on Mars, The Woman in Black), and of course Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart and Dan Starkey as Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint and Commander Strax, The Snowmen finally sees Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor coming face to face (closer than you might think!) with his enigmatic new companion, Clara, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.

We still don’t know what time it will air on BBC One on Christmas Day, but readers in the USA with access to BBC America will be pleased to know that they can catch The Snowmen at the usual time of 9/8c on December 25th!
