Doctor Who Series 7 News

Vote in The National Television Awards NOW!

Only a few hours remain to vote in the 2012 National Television Awards, so if you want some success for Doctor Who and its stars we urge you to head to the voting page today!

In the Drama category, Doctor Who is up against some strong shows including Homeland, Death in Paradise, Downton Abbey and Silk.

Meanwhile Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith is nominated in Drama Performance: Male against big hitter Sir Kenneth Branagh (Wallander) and Moffatian stable mates Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (Sherlock),

Finally, Karen Gillan has a chance at the Drama Performance: Female award for her role as Amy Pond, but only if she can hold off the amazing Gillian Anderson (Great Expectations), the popular Miranda Hart (Call the Midwife), and former Doctor Who guest stars Anna Maxwell Martin (The Bletchley Circle), Suranne Jones and Lesley Sharp (Scott & Bailey).

It’s going to be tough, but we reckon Doctor Who can come away with at least one gong – and you can help so vote in The National Television Awards NOW!
