The Third Doctor, Simpsons Style

More fantastic sketches from Springfield Punx (aka comic book artist Dean Fraser) who’s taken the great and good from all walks of pop culture and added the large overbite and yellow skin of TV’s favourite dysfunctional family The Simpsons – and this time, it’s the turn of the Third Doctor.

Doctor Who, Simpsons style...

Looking his dapper self in an array of frilly shirts, velvet coloured smoking jackets of various shades and the old Inverness cape the illustrations are, as usual, fantastic.

Accompanying the Third Doctor is an updated sketch of Rory (now complete with a becoming five o’clock shadow.)

Be sure to check out the whole range of Doctor Who sketches and don’t forget, you too can submit your suggestions or even your very own Simpsons style Doctor Who sketches over at springfieldpunx.blogspot.co.uk – kudos to Dean!

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
