Now that we’ve got the nasty business of Amy and Rory leaving the Doctor forever and never coming back, it’s time to move on.

We’ve spent the last few weeks mourning, crying, sobbing, weeping, jumping for joy that they lived a long and happy life (delete as applicable) but now the time has come to do as the Doctor would do and move on.

Or move a little faster than normal, if these location shoot pictures are anything to go by. Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman were snapped on camera as they filmed scenes for the second half of Series 7, which is due to air next year.

The filming took place in London which begs the question, will we see a return for the Doctor to 21st century Earth, a place that his Ninth and Tenth incarnations seemed to love so much?

Smith, in a new version of his tweed jacket, replete with darker and slightly ‘don’t come near me I’m hurt’ look was seen riding a moped out of the TARDIS in order to pick Coleman’s character up and probably whisk her away from danger but did it all go to plan? At the end of the shooting, the pair were seen falling off the bike but was it an accident or was it scripted?

Guess we’ll just have to wait until next year to find out!
