Sporting events, billboard ads and even cremations (maybe not that one); every tobacco company sought to align their product with the latest trend in order to obtain the elusive factor of ‘cool’.

Well, it seems someone at Hamlet must have seen the popularity of the Doctor’s greatest foe and thought that those homicidal maniacs would make the perfect spokesmen for their cigars.

And now Blastr have unearthed this unaired commercial from some point during the eighties, within which a Dalek, flummoxed by a set of stairs, takes a break with a quick drag on a popular brand of cigar.
