It’s that time of the week again – it’s time, for the Gallery!
In the absence soothing music, however, and the gentle tones of kindly eccentric artist Tony Hart, let’s take a look at some genuine cubism (see what I did there?) in our preview gallery of The Power of Three, provided by the BBC.
Along with the regular cast and a return for Mark Williams as Rory’s dad Brian, the episode guest stars the fearsome and legendary Steven Berkoff, as well as Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart, and tells of an invasion in which millions of sinister black cubes arrive overnight…
The episode is scheduled for the 7.30 pm – 8.15 pm timeslot on BBC One and BBC HD this Saturday, September 22nd, and airs a little later on BBC America 9/8c.

What’s up with the funky new console room with the spider web design? Is that the new look or a one-off auxiliary I wonder. I’ve never fully embraced the new series console rooms (although I do prefer the Matt Smith version to the Eccleston/Tennant “coral” look). My favorite was always the Victorian wood-panelled secondary from the mid Tom Baker era. I think a hybrid of that and the expansive split level Smith set would be amazing!
