Blimey, how time flies. It seems like only yesterday we were all waiting with eager anticipation for the release of the first official Big Finish Fourth Doctor adventure like a pack of excited wolves that also own a Doctor Who DVD collection.
Now, as we enter the last four months of 2012, Big Finish have started to prepare for the release of the Fourth Doctor’s second series, as he battles alien menaces with help from Mary Tamm as Romana and John Leeson as K-9.
Kicking off the merriment in January 2012 will be The Auntie Matter, the artwork for which has recently been posted on the Big Finish website for us all to drool over.
Guest starring Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) and Julie McKenzie (Marple), the Doctor and Romana find themselves hiding at a house on Baker Street in the 20th Century; the Doctor’s house no less, but things go wrong when Romana is taken to meet someone’s Aunt…
Written by Jonathan Morris, The Auntie Matter looks like it will be a good old fashioned romp, very reminiscent of the era it’s trying to recreate.
