Matt Smith Chatty-ing with Alan Carr Tonight

If you’re so inclined and don’t have much of a social life to speak of, you can catch Doctor Who star Matt Smith on the Chatty Man show this evening.

That’s right: by tuning into Channel 4 at 10.oo pm, you’ll get the chance to find out what Matt enjoys on television, how well he sleeps (apparently it’s the same bed David Tennant used) and who he would like to see as a female Doctor (although he concedes that it probably won’t happen).

Of most interest to our readers, however, will be the following on the 50th anniversary and the current state of Series 7b – not to mention yet another response as to whether or not Matt has plans to leave Doctor Who any time soon.

I am not quitting, no. I have another ten weeks of filming and I am coming back for the 50th anniversary, and there is loads more to shoot, so I am absolutely not quitting.

Using the link below you can save yourself any pain and get the main quotes – otherwise if you’re desperate to see Matt moving about and talking on one of television’s worst shows, it’s time to get some Horlicks in…
