Matt Smith as the Doctor in Asylum of the Daleks

Doctor Who Knocks It Out of the Park!

Umm… best episode ever?

There we were, preparing to write a standard “well, how about that then?” post as a warm up to our review (due on Sunday) and that happened. It’s fair to say that Asylum of the Daleks has been considerably hyped over the past few weeks, but that episode truly deserved the attention and build up that we’ve all been a part of.

Obviously throwing labels like “best episode ever” is potentially overlooking other aspects of the first 45 minutes of Doctor Who Series 7, but even ignoring the fascinating question it poses about a particular character, Asylum of the Daleks is going to live long in the minds of fans. Steven Moffat has certainly given us a winner – what else can this run of episodes hold?

Of course, that’s only my opinion. But what did you think?

As mentioned, our review of the episode will come tomorrow – hold onto your comments until then, but share your opinion in our poll!
